Directions to the SUNY Oneonta Campus - Listed  below are the directions to our campus.  After you have read the following and if we can be of any further assistance to you,  please do not hesitate to call us at (607) 436-3594 or fax us at  (607) 436-3088 or (607) 436-3581. 

FROM UTICA AND POINTS NORTH
Take Route 8 south to South New Berlin. In South New Ber;in, take Route 23 East. Follow Route 23 into Oneonta.   Entering Oneonta, you will be on Chestnut Street. Follow it to West Street (Ianelliís Restaurant will be on your right). Make a left onto West Street and follow to the campus entrance.

FROM POINTS SOUTH-RECOMMENDED ROUTE
New York State Thruway/Route 87 north to the Harriman Exit, Route 17. Follow Route 17 to Roscoe. From Roscoe to Oneonta there are many turns, but the direction to Oneonta is clearly indicated: 

Roscoe to Downsville-14.2 miles: Take Route 206 to Downsville. 

Downsville to Walton-8.8 miles: Stay on Route 206. Coming into Walton turn right at the first caution light and continue a quarter mile to a t raffic signal. Turn left on Route 206 which is also Delaware St. and Route 10. Within 40 yards be ready to make a right turn onto Townsend St. At this point you are no longer on Route 206. When you reach the end of Townsend St., turn left. 

Walton to Franklin-12.8 miles: You will be on Delaware County Route 21. (Note: county signs are much smaller in size, not as easily seen.) Be aware, about a mile out of Walton the road divides: stay to the right. 

Franklin to Oneonta-10.1 miles: As you leave Delaware County Route 21, turn right onto Route 357, and into the village of Frankllin. route 357 brings you to Route 28. Bear left and proceed to Oneonta. Turn left onto Main St., at the third light turn left onto Chestnut St. At the second light turn right onto West St. and follow to the campus entrance.

FROM POINTS EAST AND WEST
Take I-88 to Exit 15. You will exit onto Lettis Highway. Follow across the Main St. intersection and follow to Center St. Make a left onto Center St., follow to West St. Make a right onto West St., follow to campus entrance.
