Up to $30,000 is planned for allocation contingent on funding. Faculty members who receive awards will be designated as TLTC Teaching Fellows for the academic year of their award. Individual fellowships can vary from $500 to $25,000, depending on the nature of the proposed initiative. The program is administered by the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center at SUNY Oneonta.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
Any tenured, tenure-track or adjunct faculty member at
SUNY College at Oneonta may apply for a fellowship. Faculty may submit
proposals as individuals or may join with others to submit a proposal as
a faculty team. To increase faculty involvement, preference may be given
to fi rst time Fellowship applicants.
The Purpose of the Program
The purpose of these fellowships is to allow faculty
the time and resources to use technology to improve their students’ learning.
Any idea toward this purpose will be considered. Examples include,

for Recipients
A final report will be expected by September 30, 2008, to the Teaching,
Learning and Technology Center. In addition, TLTC Fellows may be asked
to present an informational session and/or poster about their project
at a College function in the semester following their award.
How Will Proposals Be Reviewed?
• All proposals will be reviewed and ranked by a sub committee of
the Educational Technology Committee, which will make recommendations
to the Provost. The final selection of Faculty Fellows will be
announced
by February 16, 2008 . Questions may be directed to Jim Greenberg in

• Proposals will be evaluated according to the following criteria,
which are not listed in any order of importance:
