Welcome to the Instructional Resources Center at SUNY Oneonta.The IRC is home to nine lecture halls, the Communications Arts Department,
the Instructional Support Center, an academic computer lab, Publications,
Television Production, WUOW Community Radio 104.7 FM, Faculty Offices and Distance Learning.
Television ProductionTelevision production facilities are located near the West Dorm Drive entrance to the IRC.
Our facilities include two digital television studios, non-linear edit suites, audio production labs and our Master Control Facility, headend to Time Warner Channel 23 and all on campus broadcasts. The IRC is also home to our multi-camera digital remote production truck.
Our television studios feature Grass Valley digital productions switchers, Yamaha digital audio production consoles, digital Chyron character generators running Lyric software, Ikegami digital cameras, Grass Valley automated cameras and Canon HD cameras. Our edit suites are equipped with Final Cut Pro HD and Adobe Premiere Pro 2.
Other facilities include our television production facility embedded in the
Alumni Field House.
