Summer 2007 Tuition Liability Schedule and Registration Policies

Please be advised that you are financially and academically liable for classes that appear on your course schedule. Once you have registered for a course, you will be charged tuition and receive a grade for that course unless you add/drop or withdraw before the published deadlines (see below). It is extremely important that you print your course schedule and read it carefully.
You will not be automatically withdrawn from a course in which you are registered if you do not attend it.
Adding or dropping courses during summer sessions follow an abbreviated schedule.

Tuition Liability. Financial liability for courses from which you withdraw applies depending on the length of the course and the date on which you withdrew.

*Please note this date falls on a Sunday, and the Summer Sessions Office is closed that day. If you choose to drop a course in Session II and wish to do so before tuition liability changes from 50% to 100%, you should contact the Office of Summer Sessions on Friday July 13 in person at 135 Netzer Administration or by fax at 607-436-3084. We must have written notification that you wish to drop a course.

Maximum course load. The maximum course load is 6 s.h. for each Summer Session. Degree students must obtain their advisor's approval to register for more than the maximum course load in any given semester, while non-degree students must obtain signed permission from the Office of Continuing Education, Netzer 135. Overload forms are available on the summer sessions webpage: http://summerclasses.oneonta.edu. Please note: If you register for more than 6 semester hours in a single session, you will be removed from the overload courses unless the form is filed with the Office of Continuing Education.
