Forecast Discussion

Overcast conditions shall persist for the remainder of today, but thankfully, the rain should hold off just in time for those of us hitting the roads these next couple of days.  Tonight, it will be mostly cloudy with temperatures dropping to the mid 30s…westerly winds at 5 to 10 mph.  Tomorrow, mostly cloudy once again with a high near 48.  Tomorrow night, light winds and partly cloudy with lows in the low to mid 30s.  Expect it to be partly cloudy and dry for much of Sunday…high 52.  An area of precipitation should make its way northward from the southeastern U.S. and affect Oneonta on Monday with some rain, possibly heavy at times.  High…50.  On Tuesday, a few light showers are possible, especially early in the day, highs in the upper 40s.  Wednesday should feature generally cloudy skies with a slight chance of a light shower, along with seasonable temperatures around 45.  Have a very happy Thanksgiving!  We will return with forecasts the Monday after break.
