SUNY College at Oneonta Policy

It is the College's policy that all grant proposals submitted to external funding sources must be cleared through the Grants Development Office. This ensures that proposals are submitted in accordance with College, SUNY and Research Foundation policies.

Funded Research

Faculty members who are seeking monies for research, creative activity, professional or curriculum development, or other institutional programs should consult with staff in the Grants Development Office for information concerning potential sponsors and SUNY policies on research. All research projects funded by off campus (external) sponsors must be processed and authorized by the Grants Development Office.

In addition, faculty members may wish to discuss research opportunities and the impact of successfully-funded proposals upon teaching responsibilities with their Department Chairs and/or Deans.
