The Success Series are programs offered in the Fall Semester that are designed specifically for new students as they begin their educational journey at the College at Oneonta.

Wednesday, September 10th, Golding Hall, 7pm It’s all Greek to me Panel of Greeks discuss pros/cons of becoming affiliated with the recognized organizations on campus. Sponsored by the Inter-Greek Council and the Greek Office.

Wednesday, September 17th, Golding Hall, 7pm Who’s in Your Heart? Feeling a little blue—missing your dog, your younger brother, your boyfriend/girlfriend, your parents….???? Join us for some comfort food, and some tips from people who’ve been where you are and survived the homesick blues.

Thursday, September 18th, Littell Hall, 7pm Make Your Mark at O-State The Student Association is run by students, for students. Come and find out what SA is all about and the ways that you can get involved on campus.

Monday, September 22nd, 7pm Wilber Hall Leading with Soul Up til’ dawn~ St. Jude’s Giants

Tuesday, September 23rd, Littell Hall, 7pm     LEADership on Campus    What is LEAD? What can LEAD do for you? Come and find out how getting involved on campus will benefit you not just during your time at Oneonta, but after!  

Monday, September 29th, Wilber Hall, 7:30pm Jeopardy Game Show
Come and learn some interesting facts about alcohol and other drugs. Fun and prizes!

Tuesday, September 30, 7pm Golding Hall Walk the Line Everyone begins in the same place… but where will you end up? Come and find out where you stand along with your friends and classmates.

Wednesday, October 1st, Littell Hall, 7:30pm Eats Cold Cheese Pizza and Leaves:   Pizza without cold cheese is like a sentence without punctuation.  Come enjoy some cold cheese pizza while playing grammar bingo.  Learn the top ten errors students make and spice up your own writing with some handy tips.  Food, games and prizes - what could be better?

Monday, October 6th, 6:30pm, Littell Hall Self Defense Program will discuss personal safety on campus and elsewhere with some demonstrations on how to defend yourself against physical attacks. Lieutenant Sherri Drumm is a certified RAD instructor (Rape Aggression Defense System) *Limited to First 20 Women*

Wednesday, October 15th, 7:30pm, Littell Hall Eat This, Not That! Heard about the freshman 15?? Learn some tips and tricks to hitting the gym and making healthy choices on a dining plan.
