ASSISTANT ATTORNEY GENERAL TO APPEAR AT SUNY-ONEONTA TO DISCUSS CONSUMER FRAUD

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Michael J. Danaher, Jr., Assistant State Attorney General from the Binghamton Regional Office, will appear at the SUNY College Oneonta on Monday, March 3, to discuss consumer fraud. He will speak about consumer issues in two Human Ecology classes, and he will provide an information table for residents of the Oneonta area from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Hunt College Union. Danaher will be available at the table to discuss the latest scams, fraud patterns, and answer any questions that individuals might have. Members of the community are invited to attend.

Danaher's appearance at SUNY-Oneonta is part of the statewide Consumer Protection Week sponsored by New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.
