ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Center for Social Responsibility and Community of the SUNY College at Oneonta will present its ninth annual Volunteerism and Social Responsibility conference from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, in the Morris Conference Center on campus. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m., and participants in the conference will receive a complimentary lunch and a t-shirt. Admission to the conference is complimentary, and members of the community are invited to participate.
Designed to inspire participants to make a difference in their communities, the conference will open with a keynote address featuring Roger Sullivan, Associate Vice President for Student Development at SUNY Oneonta, who will present "The Decision." A recipient of the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Professional Service, Mr. Sullivan will address the decision of how to balance our own needs while serving others, particularly in times of social and economic uncertainty.

by the SUNY Oneonta Center for Social Responsibility and Community, the SUNY
Delhi O’Connor Center for Community Service, Hartwick College’s Office for
Community Involvement and Volunteerism, and the Oneonta Job Corps Academy.
