SUNY ONEONTA TO PRESENT SCOTLAND ROAD

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Mask and Hammer, the student theatre group of the SUNY College at Oneonta, in conjunction with the College's Theatre Department, will present the play Scotland Road by Jeffrey Hatcher on Thursday-Saturday, February 12-14 at 8 p.m. with a matinee performance on Sunday, February 15, at 2 p.m. All performances will take place in the Goodrich Theater of the Fine Arts Building. Tickets are complimentary with a valid student identification card or $3 for general admission. Tickets are available at the door or can be reserved by calling the Goodrich Theater Box Office at (607) 436-3100 on weekdays from noon until 4 p.m.

Scotland Road is a mystery that centers on a woman, apparently a survivor of the Titanic, found floating alone in the North Atlantic 80 years after the ship's sinking. Her impossible story fuels a man's obsession with a tragedy he never witnessed. The play questions what is real, what is imagined, what we should remember, and what we choose to forget.

Directed by Andrew Kahl of the SUNY Oneonta Theatre Department, the production features strong performances by a talented cast of student actors.

More information about the production is available from Andrew Kahl at (607) 436-3456 or on the web at www.oneonta.edu/academics/theatre/
