ONEONTA, N.Y. -- As an installment of the fall semester’s Red Dragon Reading Series at the SUNY College at Oneonta, poet Patrick Lawler will present a reading from his work at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, in the Little Theater in Alumni Hall. The reading will be followed by a reception and book signing. Admission to the event is complimentary, and members of the community are invited to attend.
Patrick Lawler has published three books of his poetry: A Drowning Man is Never Tall Enough, reading a burning book, and Feeding the Fear of the Earth. He is the former director of the SUNY College of Environmental Science Writing Program, where he currently teaches literature and environmental writing courses. In addition, he teaches creative writing at LeMoyne College, and he is the ecopoetry and drama editor for the literary journal Many Mountains Moving.
