Electronic Delivery Service/Photocopying
All SUNY Oneonta faculty are eligible for Faculty Electronic Delivery Services (FEDS). Milne Library staff will scan articles and book chapters from any non-circulating material (including reference books, journals, and non-circulating interlibrary loans). Each request is limited to 30 pages. There is no charge for these services.
Requests for electronic delivery of non-circulating library materials should be place through ILLiad, our online interlibrary loan/document delivery system accessible from the Library's home page. Requests will be filled within 24-48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, and will be delivered to you electronically unless you specifically request a printed copy.
Often you will be able to access electronic journals directly. Please check for the availability of a journal article through our SerialsSolutions link on the library's home page. Serials Solutions indicates which journals are available full text online and for which years they are available. Embedded in most of the electronic indexes and article databases on the library's web pages are buttons that say Link to full text image . 360 Link to Full Text is a tool that creates links from the citations in one database to the full text, when it is available, in another database. When electronic full text is not available, 'Request document via ILLiad (Interlibrary Loan)' will appear as one of the 360 Link to Full Text options.
